The purpose of this program is to help our harder-to-place senior, sick, or handicapped pugs.  We are offering [to approved foster homes only] the opportunity to foster these wonderful pugs on a long-term basis, and in return we will be picking up the cost of certain medications, as incentive. Pugs must meet certain criteria prior to be accepted into the Helping Hands program.

This program was formerly called the "Senior Pug Program," but with the addition of pugs into the program who are not elderly, but rather handicapped or sick, we have changed the name to be more inclusive.

It takes a special family to adopt a special needs pug.   But whatever effort you put out on behalf of these very special dogs, it will be returned to you in love and companionship.

If you would like to be a part of Helping Hands, please contact Sherry.  It is a rewarding opportunity for people to give back to these wonderful dogs that give so much to us.
