This is our major fundraising event for the year.

100% of the proceeds go to help rescued pugs.

Events:

Parade of Rescue Pugs  Come and see all of the wonderful pugs that have found           adoptive homes through Seattle Pug Rescue!  For the first time, Lily the     pug will be Grand Marshall for the Parade!  Lily was the inspiration for the first Pug Gala 13 years ago!

Miss Lily, our original inspiration for the Seallte Pug Gala, she is our Parade Marshall for the parade.

Costume Show   Dress your pug up in his best and show him off!

Talent Show  Does your pug have a special talent?  Come show everyone just how great he is!  Pugs are natural show-offs!

Pug Races   Run, puggy, run!  Or at least head toward the finish line!

Pug Kissing Contest   How many times can your pug kiss you in 30 seconds?  Let’s find out!  The winner gets a special prize!

Pug Agility Course   OK, so you think pugs don’t do agility courses?  Well, think again!  We’ll have guides to help you run the course with your pug, and it’s all for fun and a good cause!  $1 donation to enter the course.

Raffle  Local vendors have donated lots of items for you to win!  Buy a ticket (or 10!) and press your luck!  Funds from ticket sales go directly to Seattle Pug Rescue.

Silent Auction   New for Pugmania 2008!  Bid on a specific item that you really want!  The more you bid, the better chance you’ll have at winning, and it all goes to help pugs in need.

Look for these Special Booths:

Seattle Pug Rescue  Come by and see Success Stories about pugs who have found new homes and get information about how you can help rescued pugs through adoption or volunteering.  No pugs will be available for adoption at the Gala.

Norton’s Ark Vet  Dr. Keith Norton and Dr. Melissa Norton will be on-hand to answer your puggy medical questions.  They are also available to microchip your pug.  Microchipping is a great way to help make sure your snorty friend gets found in case he gets lost!  The cost for microchipping will be posted later.

Ask Mr. and Mrs. Pug One of our volunteers will be on-hand to answer common questions about pug care and typical pug behavior issues.
