Polly is now living happily in Issaquah.  Polly wants to thank everyone who contributed to her care, and visits her at pug events.

We brought Polly here from a Puppy Mill in PA. She was bred every season and had LOTS of Litters in her 6 years before coming to us. Because of cramped quarters, her legs could not develop naturally, but with surgery we hope she will be more mobile.   She has already had one surgery and is doing much better now, but she requires additional surgery, provided by Seattle Pug Rescue veterinarians, Dr. Keith Norton and Dr. Melissa Norton.   Please check on her current status.

Polly loves to be loved and bonds quite well now.  She is learning to trust.  She is an extremely loving dog that needs someone in her life to make her feel loved and secure now.   Polly needs to be in a home where someone is home most of the day because for quite some time she will worry that when you go out the door you might not come back.

Polly gets along with other dogs and cats, but we would prefer her to go to a home with no more than one other older dog.

Here are a picture of Shyloh. She loves to lie by the fire in one of her beds.. and chew on a bone
that's almost as large as she is. Shyloh likes to lie on the back of the couch, while Babe lies on
the pillows.
She also keeps my chair warm for me at my desk by my computer. She and Babe lie together on
Babe's pillow with a blanket for Shyloh. She likes to have it over her head at times. She loves to
ride in the car and wants to be the first one out the door. She rides in the front seat and Babe in
the back due to her size.
She's the sweetest little pug and so smart. She is very friendly and loves everyone she meets.
She's been very well trained and minds what I say. She's a pleasure to have as part of the
family. We love her to pieces. She's very funny when she wakes up in the morning because she
wants to play, so she'll run around and around the house as fast as she can. I was surprised that
she still likes stuffed Animals. She likes to shake them and shake them just like Babe my 2 year
old dobie does.
