Max was adopted in February, 2002 by Tom and Karen Teal.  Here is a little bit of what Max has been up to lately!

Dear Seattle Pug Rescue,

Max has a rich and varied social life here in Maple Leaf.  After a year and a half living in the neighborhood, this fine pug is a well-established personality.  Neighbors slow down and call out his name.  People have stopped their cars to actually take Max on walks.  His fame as a gentleman has spread aroung our little cluster of homes.  The parents of his most avid little friends, (the female pugs you see lined up with him for a treat, below) like to have Max over to their house because the girls don't fight when he is there.  Max is the same age as Emma, the fawn pug below.  Claire, the black pug, is one. They are pups from Alabama.

Max gets around.  He attended the dedication of our new public park here in Maple Leaf on September 17, 2003.  As you can see, he was tangled with his across the street neighbor, Lady the cocker spaniel.

Finally, notice  his calm, benign and thoughtful demeanor as he takes a break from gardening with his dad, Tom, and Tom's special assistant, Liam.

Every day is a special one with Max around.  I wish everyone could experience the pleasure of the company of such a fine canine.

Seattle Pug Rescue would like to thank the Teals and other adoptive homes for giving these wonderful pugs like Max a new start in life and lots of love!
