SPR could not achieve this great level of success without our dedicated volunteers.
Our volunteers give freely of their love and time to help rescue & transport pugs,
as well as providing loving foster homes. The foster families not only give pugs
a place to live while we search for their forever family, but also work with rescue
pugs on obedience and house-
The other essential aspect of SPR are the adoptive families. All of the individuals, couples and families in the Puget Sound area who are willing to give a rescue pug the chance to grow old in a loving home are so appreciated by all who work with SPR. Without adoptive families, SPR could not help such great numbers of pugs in need. It takes someone special to open their lives and homes to a rescue pug, especially if that pug is a "diamond in the rough". Thank you for giving these special pugs a home where they are loved and cherished, every single day of their lives. It means so much to everyone who works with SPR, but means even more to the pug curled up on your couch, snoring away without a care in the world.
